This article gives a brief but really interesting view of the different places in Mauritius starting with Le morne which one of the most beautiful place on the island due to its incredible view at the top but also because of its history. I found the article relevant to the readers because it shows the value of our island in terms of its cultural values and of its beautiful landscapes. It highlights the different aspects of wildlife, mountains and waterfalls and this sums up what I want to introduce people in my blog. It is the green side of Mauritius and I wanted to add that it is only a part of the island and that there is much more to come. An example would be Black river gorges which offers the same incredible view where you can do hiking. Actually what is stated in the article about the slaves which jumped off the cliff for freedom is not a story but it is history. Long ago white people were the one who ruled over the country and slaves from Africa and India were brought to mauritians. It was rude and difficult for them to be able to overcome these problems so they preferred committing suicide instead of getting back to slavery. Moreover it describes the beauty of the waterfalls especially the one at Chamarel but it also shows why Mauritius is considered as a little paradise when it talks about the 7 earth colored soil. It adds to what I wanted to introduce people in terms of landscapes, culture but more especially about the outstanding view. The thing is that we may be small in size but we are rich in beauty. Moreover it underlines that Mauritius is the ideal destination if you want to go on holidays! We are lucky and blessed to live in a country which has not been covered by buildings but we were able to keep this authenticity. The article highlights the blue lagoon and the crystal clear water, all this seems like a pure marketing video but it is actually true and it l about the journey and the experience. I would recommend everyone to come here and enjoy it. It is a five star destination if you are looking for beauty , culture and peace of mind! To add to, forgetting about the helicopter tour, the electro bike or seakarting which would cost some money, the best things in Mauritius remains free and you just need a friend who could bring you to its wonders.
